Scientist for a permanent position
We are now looking for an engaged, analytical, and structured scientist for our R&D organization in Oslo.

In this role, you will join our Bioanalytical Sciences team focusing on the development of immunological assays, including batch potency tests and the analytical evaluation of samples related to vaccines and clinical studies in vaccine development projects. An important focus is to develop and validate in vitro tests that aligns with the principles of the 3Rs approach to refine, reduce, and replace animal use which is essential for advancing scientific innovation while upholding the highest standards of animal welfare.

You will be expected to interact closely and communicate effectively with scientists from different backgrounds across all our scientific teams, as well as with colleagues from regulatory affairs and QA/QC.

Key responsibilities
•    Development of quantitative immunological analytical methods, such as ELISA, for analysis of vaccine products and samples from clinical trials.
•    Plan and perform practical laboratory work, with a focus on immunological analytical methods.
•    Contribute to quality documentation for vaccine dossiers and internal research reports.
•    Continuously develop and share professional competence within your areas of responsibility.

Qualifications and profile
•    PhD or master’s degree in relevant life science discipline.
•    5-10 years practical experience with immunological methods and assay development, preferably from industry.
•    Fluent Norwegian and English skills, both written and oral

The ideal candidate can demonstrate:
•    Extensive experience in developing and performing in vitro batch potency assays. This includes a deep understanding of assay validation, optimization, and troubleshooting.
•    Proficiency in using various analytical techniques to assess the potency and stability of biological products, particularly vaccines.
•    A strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are essential.
•    Experience with regulatory requirements and quality control standards in a bioanalytical setting.
